Our Guttering Replacement Process
Every gutter replacement in Leeds starts with an assessment of the fascia and soffit boards that gutters are fixed to. Rotten fascias cannot support new guttering — we identify and replace these during the same visit, avoiding repeat scaffolding costs.
We remove all existing guttering and downpipes and inspect the fascia fixings and line. New brackets are fixed at correct centres and fall (3mm per metre minimum fall to outlets). Gutter sections are clipped together with correctly positioned union joints and stop ends. All downpipes are connected with offset shoes to guide water away from the wall face and into drains.
We also replace fascia and soffit boards where required and install ventilated soffit panels on properties that need roof space ventilation. We combine gutter work with wall cladding and chimney repairs to minimise scaffold costs across Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, and Harrogate.
